Prior to becoming a SAHM, I worked in an office full-time. One of my biggest pet peeves were the co-workers and/or bosses who would come to me needing assistance with something that could have been handled very differently if they had just thought ahead. (Inevitably it was always at 4:29pm on a Friday afternoon, ensuring that I had to stay later than planned.)
This phrase is not mine, but I did have it displayed on my desk at 2 different companies. My colleagues were always amused… but I was completely serious about the sentiment. :)
Perhaps you’ve got a situation, whether it be at work or home, where you’re continuously being put out by others not planning ahead?
For you, another printable in the Just Because series…

I too used to have a sign on my desk at work that said this and I started saying it to my son around late elementary / middle school. Had to laugh when he said it to a classmate in HS when they were working on a group project! Love these! This is sooooooo true!
Posted a link on my FB page !
Ha ha ha! I can totally relate! I love it!

That was a favorite saying of mine before I became a SAHM! I worked in medical records and plenty of times we were forced to stop what we were doing to help someone who could have saved us a lot of trouble if they had only read their checklists!
Aimee, This print is perfect for my friend. She uses this on her kids all the time! I always enjoy your posts and tips. Your blog is full of fun ideas and amazing designs which I love and appreciate! I'm highlighting Sprik Space on my blog today. I'd love it if you checked it out!
This is what I tell my kids every time they want me to JUMP because they have procrastinated on homework, and etc. Love this saying. I should print this and hang in our home!
