While Connor was still in the NICU, there were a few books we took to the hospital to read to him – one of those was Guess How Much I Love You. Nowadays, it’s one of the few books without Gabba friends or Elmo in it for which Connor will hold still… at least almost all of it. Maybe he remembers hearing the story? Doubtful, but it’s nice to think so. This book will always remind me of our bittersweet time spent in the hospital, waiting to bring our little guy home.This sweet phrase comes from that story – “I love you to the moon and back.” Love it.
