This is my lovely friend, Zoe.
In high school, her family taught me the wonders of ice cream, when I worked at her mom’s ice cream parlor – best. job. ever.
In the years since, whenever someone told me I looked like Jennie Garth, I immediately thought of Zoe, because she was the first to insist that I did. (I still disagree!)
Through the magic of the internets, we’ve recently reconnected via Facebook.
I always knew she was crazy talented, but I don’t think I ever realized how crafty she was!
I spotted this pic she posted to FB about seeing some of her wares displayed in Deseret Book, and inquired about her car roll-up. She was so incredibly sweet, she graciously sent Connor one of his very own! And it’s adorable in person:
This week, she’s participating in the Beehive Bazaar at Thanksgiving Point. Her shop’s name is Ruby Market.
If I lived in Utah, or was anywhere near Utah this weekend, I’d be checking out this show in a heartbeat! If you happen to go (lucky, lucky you!), please be sure to say hi to Zoe for me. :)
Thanks again for the car roll-up, Zoe… I love it!!

Aimee, you are so sweet!! I am so glad that you like it! I just got your card in the mail and it was so nostalgic to see your handwriting - so neat and pretty. I always loved your handwriting! Ironically, I was listening to Erasure too when Sterling brought the mail in so it was like a double memory. It seems like "Oh L’Amour" was your favorite song at one time. . . right? Oh, what I wouldn't give to go back to those days . . . if only for one binge at the ice cream store or a church dance! :)
That is so cute!
