Fun surprise!

Last week, a great surprise landed on our doorstep...
a new GIRAFFE!

Connor was thrilled... and so was Mommy!

The one friend I can remember the longest
was my next-door neighbor, Melanie.
We've known each other since I was 5,
and even though she's just a teensy bit older than me,
she was always sweet enough to let me follow her around
and to teach me all about Pat Benatar
and fur coats (best hand-me-down EVER).

Although we lost track of one another over the years,
through the magic of the internet,
I'm able to follow her around once more.

(And she sends Connor the sweetest care packages!!)
