All is well...
Connor's been making a smooth transition from the hospital to home... sleeping lots, eating lots, messing diapers lots.
He loves his swing and rides in the car (as long as it's moving!). Enjoys sacking out on the couch with Mom & Dad... been doing lots of that!
We've pretty much got a handle on his meds schedule... out of 8 feeds a day, he is dosed at least 1 med for 7 of them. Bloodwork on Wednesday showed his sodium levels maintaining. Pediatrician says he's already gained 2 ounces since coming home... yep, we'll be keeping him on his toes!
You'd think that once we left the NICU with him, that would be the end of it... but his nurses and doctors have all been so sweet to call in and check on us. While we don't miss the nightmare of having a baby in the NICU, we really miss the wonderful people who cared for Connor over the past 4 months. They all became a part of our family. It feels so foreign not having to schlep back and forth to the hospital every day.
Next week will be busy! Auntie Lyn (one of his primary nurses) is coming over for a photo shoot... a friendly "house call" if you will. :) He has appointments with his endocrinologist, gastro-enterologist, hematologist, and pediatrician, as well as another VCUG and renal ultrasound. Mommy will need to be committed after Tuesday's schedule of appointments! Grandma Rogers arrives on Wednesday.
Brian and I are also doing well... very tired, but we can't complain!
I have more pictures to post, but right now the beast needs to eat.
More to come...

I am so glad things are going well at home.
He is just gorgeous! How do you stop yourself from eating him up?
He's gorgeous-- what a wonderful update! I couldn't be happier for you guys. So glad he's finally home!! :)
Aimee and Brian, Connor looks wonderful, I'm so happy to hear how well all of you are doing. The NICU isn't the same without you, but I bet it's fantastic for you without us!! Best wishes to you all. Love, Harriet
Those pictures are gorgeous! I'm so happy for you that you finally have him home. You are truly amazing and he is one lucky kid to have you.
I keep coming back to see his perfect little face. He looks so happy and content at home!
I am so glad he is home and doing well! He is so handsome :)
Hi Aimee & Brian & Connor!
Connor looks so good! It was nice to look back at the pictures of him when he was so little. It's hard to remember him being that small. He's such a tough guy.
Take care - miss you all.
Love, Diane
My husband saw that top picture of Connor and said he looked like a "bruiser" and wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley! :) He is so dang cute! How's life at home going?
