he is so cute and sweet. about a week ago susannah looked over my shoulder as i was looking at your blog. she asked me lots of questions about connor. i told her he was born early and that we need to pray for him, that so he can grow and go home from the hospital. every meal and every night susannah prays for baby connor. she will be excited to hear this great news.

Cute cute. I just read about "philtrum" mythology. Kinda interesting;

"According to the Jewish Talmud (Niddah 30b), God sends an angel to each womb and teaches a baby all the wisdom that can be obtained. Just before the unborn baby comes out, the angel touches it between the upper lip and the nose and all that it has taught the baby is forgotten."

Hi Aimee--I've been following Sprik Space ever since Kristen told me of Connor's birth. From the first picture I saw of Connor I fell in love with him. Now I am a mother of 5 and grandmother of 15 and by profession a school nurse--all of which is to say that I admitedly love all children. BUT there really is something very, very special about Connor. Even when he was extremely tiny and fragile you could tell he had such a noble spirit. And that he was born a fighter! Kent and I have been praying for him since the day he was born, and have put his name on the prayer rolls at the Mesa Temple many times. We are thrilled with how well he is doing! Thank you for sharing your love story of your beautiful baby! We know how much Maddy will love playing with her little cousin!

Congratulations on getting rid of the cannula!! Darbi is still on the ossilator and will probably be soon moved to a regular ventilator. Right now I can't wait for the day where we are only looking at a cannula in the way of her beautiful face. I'm so happy for you guys! That really is a huge step for him!
