It is truly overwhelming how many "must-have" baby products are out there! I really don't want to spend a fortune, or end up with a bunch of clutter that we don't or hardly use.
So, I turn to you, my faithful readers, what baby products turned out to be "must-haves" in your experience? I would LOVE specifics if you have them!
Thanks in advance...

Nursing cape/cover
Baby Buddy Baby's 1st Toothbrush
Learning Curve Baby Star Teething Blanket
Fisher-Price Soothe 'n Play Bouncer (simple and not so bulky as others)
Baby Trend Single Snap N' Go Stroller (after a C-section you can only carry 10 pounds)
The Bumbo - 2 of my kids (ethan and Avery) had positional plagiocephaly and we had to purchase a corrective helmet at $1500 for each of them. The Bumbo cured that issue in Olivia and Amelia. Best investment we ever made.
Those diaper trash cans... they mask the smell better than anything but boy do they ever stink when you empty them... they make a lovely chain of diaper beads though. Don't waste your money on a changing table... I don't know anyone that used theirs. A swing was a must for us but I know some people who's baby hated it. Some of it depends on the person and on the baby.
I am a minimalist when it comes to all this stuff. Right away...you don't need much. One thing I love and we go through about 10 a day is plain white terry cloth bibs. Aiden spits up and drools a lot, so these are great for us. I prefer them over burp cloths because they just stay with the baby. Although, they always cover up the cute onesies...oh well. Just take them off for pictures.
I have to agree with the Diaper Geneie. If you don't have this get ready for a stinky nursery!! And unlike the person who commented on the changing table...I use mine multiple times a day!! The one thing that I totally love and do not regret getting even though it's pricey is a video monitor. I reccommend this to all my new mom friends because we have LOVED having it. If you need more info on it, email me, but I believe the one we got is the "Summer" brand and it works like a champ!
That's funny - I thought the diaper genie was the biggest waste of money ever. That stupid thing stunk to high heaven all the time.
We just put plastic grocery sacks upstairs and we would start a new sack every morning. Once it started to smell - we emptied it.
But I HATED the diaper genie!
