"Do you hear what I hear?"

At some point, every mid-November, I dust off my iTunes Christmas playlist and give it a listen until early January. With nearly 600 tracks, I don't get sick of it very easily. See, I love good, alternative holiday music... there's only so much MoTab and Mannheim Steamroller I can take. (Johnny Mathis and Kenny G make me want to vomit.)

Yesterday, Pop Candy introduced me to a new, very cool holiday mix you can stream to your PC. (I listen to it via iTunes.)

Check out the woxy.com Holiday Mixer...

Just in the last hour, I've heard holiday tunes by Aimee Mann, Ella Fitzgerald, the Smithereens, R.E.M., Badly Drawn Boy, Feist, and Eel.

I think you'll like it too...

I do love Christmas music but it makes me angry when it is played before Thanksgiving. I like the classics by Nat King Cole etc.

Hi Aimee! Thanks for the music tip. I love good Christmas music...I'm amazed at how many artists do their versions of Christmas music. How are you feeling these days?

I am not quite ready for this yet. My rule is that I wait until I decorate my tree to start listening. But I am ALL OVER THIS when I am ready, because I'm kind of sick of my 3 or 4 usual CDs. THanks!
