You really, really, like me?!?

I know, I know... the posting has been light the past several days. For the 7 faithful fans I have out there, I apologize. One of these days I'll be able to share with you what I've been working on...

In the meantime, the lovely and fabulous Tiburon of Shark Bait has gifted me with an award!! (I know! I was as stunned as you are!! Looks like I need to let her win my giveaways more often! :)

None of this could be possible without the support of YOU, my faithful readers!! (Sorry my acceptance speech isn't any longer... I. can't. find. any. words. So humbled! And the orchestra started playing over me...)

This award is one of those that you have to pass along... yep, it has strings attached. But having one posted on your blog is like saying you frequent the Peach Pit... like a lot... and you hang out with Kelly and Dylan every day after school.

• Christy of Suburban Hippie - I'm proud to call her one of my BFFs from high school, and through the miracle of the internets we found each other again after all of those years... so happy to see she never lost her stellar sense of humor!
• Hannah of Sherbet Blossom Studio - this girl is another one I'm not lucky enough to know in real life, but man she's got skillz! Quite the eye for design, too!
• Kami of It's No Biggie - this girl is having the best year ever and is so incredibly talented! I wish she was my next door neighbor so I wouldn't have to pretend to know her...
• Kristen of D+K+M - Since I'm giving one to my brother, I must be fair and give one to my sister. J/K. I really enjoy reading her blog, WHEN she posts... which isn't often enough, naturally. It's fun to see her turning into a cute little mom!
• Kristen of The Birkmeyers - First we were co-workers, then we were roommates. It's so fun to see how her little family is growing! Her blog is a great mix of family updates and cool finds.
• Melanie of Poage Perspective - I idolized this chica during elementary school... she lived next door, and I wanted to grow up to be just like her. I love seeing pics of her little boy because he looks just like the way I remember his mom! Another miracle of the internets and we found each other again after more than 20 years!
• Ray of AmbienRay - She's another long-lost Houston friend who's now part of my blogging universe. Love reading her spot-on opinions and so-true pet peeves! Also wish she was my next door neighbor, because then I'd be living in Hawaii.
• Scott of Bluree - Okay, okay we're related... but I can't tell you how excited I get when I see he's made another post. Sure, I don't always agree with him, but I love to see how his mind works. (And shhh... don't tell him, but he's totally turning into my dad!)
• And of course, I can't leave out my G-Squared Girls... (some of their blogs are private, sorry) Andi, Emily, & Karen - I don't know what I'd do without you!

So there you have it... I hope y'all are as proud to post your award as I am!!
