Easiest Pot Roast EVER

Not. Kidding. Just 3 ingredients and 3 steps...
Easiest Pot Roast EVER

1 2-3 lb. pot roast
1 1/2 cups water
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  1. Put the pot roast in your crockpot.
  2. Add the water and soup mix.
  3. Cook on LOW for 8 hours.
Yep, I know... no carrots and potatoes cooked with the roast, but that's fine by me! I never have liked onion-y, soggy vegetables with my roast beef, plus they never work well as leftovers, anyway. I combined this with smashed potatoes, brown gravy w/ a little oregano, steamed veggies, and fresh-baked sourdough bread. It was delicious!!

Now if the rain would hold off just long enough for me to get this onion smell out of my house...
