It's nearly that time of year!

Farmer's markets are almost in season out here - just a few more weeks. I haven't visited any in our area yet, but it's something I'm really looking forward to this year.

In my efforts to be a little more green, I want to focus on supporting my local community more, buying fresh produce at farmer's markets when I can, and spending less on groceries imported from South America.

I found this site today - LocalHarvest.org - it's a great resource. Just enter in your zip code, and it will locate and give details on the farmer's markets in your area.
